What was discussed

The session discussed how to bridge the gap in outlook between research, which is long-term, and industry, which is short-term, and how to connect research knowledge to industry. The idea of the orchestration of knowledge was presented as a way to unravel research knowledge that has blended into everyday life and become hard to see. ANSWER+, which supports corporate strategy based on academic knowledge, was introduced as a concrete example. The direction of using AI not to automate research but to build a well-supported foundation in which research is easier to do was also discussed.

About this session

Orchestrating knowledge looks straightforward in the age of AI, yet proves anything but once you actually attempt it. esse-sense is trying to solve this practice — the foundation of industry creation — through a system called ANSWER. As the opening of the two days of the esse-sense Future Forum, this special session shares how esse-sense is building that orchestration of knowledge.
