The future of people and AI

What was discussed
The session discussed how the roles of people and the value standards of society change if AI is welcomed not only as a tool but as an intelligent other. The possibility of teams in which multiple people and AI collaborate, and the concern that concentration in those who hold data and capital will advance, were presented. A bias in perception was also taken up, in which people tend to think their own expertise cannot be replaced by AI while others' expertise can. The need to accept intrinsic motivation without evaluating it only by results, and the view that the ability to become absorbed in something will be valuable, were discussed.
About this session
